Anthony Gayton

1968 Born in Devon, England.
1987 Began to study photography at West Surrey College of Art and Design, Farnham.
1988 Moved to London to complete BA (Hons) Degree in Photography (University of Westminster).
1989 Awarded the Agfa Bursary for final degree project.
1989-90 Exhibited work in group shows in galleries around London.
1993 Moved to Vienna, Austria.
1993-98 Worked as photographer’s assistant in Vienna and Paris.
1998 Took over as studio manager to Andreas H. Bitesnich and began own
photography  after an eight-year break.
Since 2000 Work published and exhibited internationally.
2005 First book ‘Sinners & Saints’ published by te Neues.
Since 2006 Gallery representation in Barcelona (MiTO Gallery).
Since 2007 Left studio of Andreas H. Bitesnich to concentrate solely on own work.
2010 Relocated from Vienna to Bideford, England.
